A mere 1% of fatal and injury collisions occur on motorways* for speed cameras to be placed only in high accident locations, to be clearly marked and have their locations publicised. This is what happens in other European countries such as the UK and France. We are strongly opposed to the current approach by the Irish Government and the Gardaí.
