We want your speed camera locations
To be in with a chance to win all you need to do is input the details of any
regular mobile speed camera locations you know of
or the location of any fixed
speed cameras in your area. Everyone who logs a new speed camera location or
reports an existing location will be included in the draw.
To report an existing location
First check if the location you have seen has already been reported by looking
at the map on the front page of
https://www.irishspeedtraps.com/. If it is there then click on the
marker and a details bubble will pop up. Then click on the "Report Sighting"
link and complete the details on the screen.
To report a new speed camera location
How we select the winners
The winners will be selected at random in a computerised draw. Please take into
account the following points to ensure you are included in the draw:
- The more you submit the greater your chance of winning. But remember you must
submit accurate locations. Entrants submitting multiple fake camera locations
will be disqualified.
- Accuracy of speed camera locations: We will verify each location submitted.
Only locations verified as reliable and accurate will be eligible for inclusion.
- Only submitted locations which meet the above criteria will be entered into
the draw.
Terms and
conditions
1. Your speed
camera location submission can either be new camera locations or a report of an
existing location on irishspeedtraps.com.
2. We will contact
the winners by email by 31/May/2010 at the latest. All winners' names and
hometowns will be published on the
irishspeedtraps.com website.
3. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct or
the results of a competition the decision of Irishspeedtraps.com will be final.
4. Irishspeedtraps.com competitions are not open to staff
of Irishspeedtraps.com, their immediate family members or associated companies.
5. Competition entrants must be over 18 years old and resident in
the Republic of Ireland in order to qualify as the prize winner.
6. No cash alternative will be awarded in lieu of stated prize(s)
7. If, due to circumstances beyond its control, a prize becomes
unavailable Irishspeedtraps.com and/or the promoter(s) reserves the right
to substitute a prize of equal value.
8. Use of a false name or address by a competition entrant will
disqualify them from receiving any prize.
9. Irishspeedtraps.com and/or the promoter(s) will endeavour to
deliver all prizes within 28 days of winning. Where this is not possible the
winner(s) will be notified of a delay.
10. Irishspeedtraps.com reserves the right to change prize
details without notice and all prizes are subject to availability.
11. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to use the
relevant winner's name and hometown for purposes of advertising, promotion or
publicity in any media without additional compensation and prize winners agree
to take part in such related promotional activities
as Irishspeedtraps.com and/or the promoter(s) may require.
12. All competition entries must be received
by Irishspeedtraps.com in the required format before the advertised closing
date. Neither Irishspeedtraps.com nor its affiliated entities are
responsible for printing or typographical errors in any materials relating to
Irishspeedtraps.com promotions; fraudulent, lost, late, misdirected, incomplete
or altered entries; or entries which are processed late or incorrectly or are
lost due to computer or other technical malfunction.
13. Irishspeedtraps.com reserves the right to cancel, terminate,
modify or suspend a competition and/or vary competition rules at any time
without prior notice.
14. Neither Irishspeedtraps.com nor its agents accept any
responsibility whatsoever for any death, injury or other damage, loss, expense
or liability arising as a result of taking a prize. Nor
will Irishspeedtraps.com have any liability or responsibility for any claim
arising in connection with participation in any Irishspeedtraps.com competition
or any of the prizes rewarded.
15. Prizes not claimed within specified time limit will be deemed
to have been forfeited and Irishspeedtraps.com may dispose of such prizes
without any liability to the winner.
16. Any person found to be in disregard of these rules will be
disqualified automatically.
17. Irishspeedtraps.com reserves the right to disqualify any
contestant for any reason whatsoever in its sole discretion.
18. Participation in Irishspeedtraps.com competitions
denotes acceptance of these terms and conditions and any additional competition
